Hi!
I'm Soo, an amazing Korean Communicator.
My prowess in Korean language has earned me several awards in public speaking and debate tournaments.
My strategy in teaching goes beyond learning new words.
I focus on developing communication experts and equipping my students with the confidence to fluently communicate their ideas in Korean.
I have been teaching for over two years now. I have been able to develop simple mechanisms to learn this language easy, fun and interesting to learn.
My lessons are fun-filled, very interactive, easy and most importantly crafted to meet student's goals.

I’ve now had around 10 classes with Soo Ho. She’s a great teacher. The lessons are always flexible, she’s open to making changes based on my input, and she’s supportive and encouraging. Meeting with Soo Ho weekly is a great supplement to a local weekly Korean class I take, and she helps me learn a more natural way to use Korean versus what’s taught in a formal textbook. I highly recommend her!

The teacher was patient and took thorough notes during the lesson for my review. She helped me to find the right word or how to say a sentence naturally when I didn't know. Also, she supplied good materials for my further study and homework after the lesson.

I've become much more comfortable and confident with Korean and creating sentences after my lessons with Soo Ho. The teacher provides outside materials to allow for preparing for the next class while re-enforcing the last class's content, which helps me a lot with practicing and remembering.

호수 씨 is always very patient and never rushes me when I’m trying to find the words, and I appreciate that. I’m very slow - at learning, at thinking, at speaking. I’ve been working with Soo, and I have made a lot of progress, especially in my reading and writing. We’ve also been working on my listening comprehension and my speaking by starting with scripted dialogues and then continuing the dialogue after the script is done. As a result, I’m building my confidence more and more. Even when I’m tired, I feel more energized at the end of a lesson, and I get excited to learn more. I’m happy I found a supportive, flexible tutor who is helping me so much to improve my Korean.
